Heidi Matthews is an Assistant Professor at Osgoode Hall Law School, York University. Her work intersects international criminal law, the law of war, legal history, and political theory, with critical attention to gender, history, and aesthetic theory.

She is collaborating on a documentary film examining narratives of Allied sexual violence against German women post-World War II.
