Heidi Linnerud

Heidi Linnerud is a Lecturer and Section Manager for Social Work at the University of Inland Norway's Faculty of Health and Social Sciences. Based at the Lillehammer campus, her work focuses on social work education and research concerning the upbringing and socialization of children and young people.

Her research examines socialization processes and community welfare systems, particularly through the lens of child development and youth engagement. She leads investigations into how social structures impact youth development in contemporary society.

As section manager, she coordinates academic programs and maintains collaborative relationships with regional social service organizations to bridge academic research with community needs.
