Heidi Hahn

Prof. Dr. Heidi Hahn leads the Section of Developmental Genetics at the University Medical Center Göttingen. Her research investigates Hedgehog/Patched signaling in solid tumors including rhabdomyosarcoma, basal cell carcinoma, and cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma.

Research aims to identify molecular triggers of tumor initiation, elucidate signaling roles in progression, and discover therapeutic agents targeting Hedgehog-associated cancers using Ptch mutant mouse models.
