Heidi Brothers

Heidi Brothers, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Colorado Denver's College of Engineering, Design and Computing. She contributes to the Construction Engineering and Management (CEM) program, which offers undergraduate and graduate degrees with interdisciplinary curricula integrating engineering, architecture, and business principles.

Her research focuses on advancing construction education through technology innovation, including Building Information Modeling (BIM), construction surveying, and smart cities infrastructure. The CEM program emphasizes industry engagement, state-of-the-art methods, and flexible academic offerings for nontraditional students.

Heidi maintains strong connections with the construction industry through advisory boards, guest speakers, and internship programs. She teaches courses like Construction Technology 1/2 and contributes to the Technology Innovation in Construction minor and certificate programs.
