Heather N. Maietta

Dr. Heather Maietta is a Professor in Regis College's EdD in Higher Education Leadership program, specializing in qualitative research methods, organizational theory, and career development systems. Her research examines first-generation doctoral student experiences, adult learner motivation, and institutional transitions during college closures. She developed the 'Career Passport' framework for undergraduate career readiness and consults nationally on workforce development.

Education includes an EdD in Higher Education Leadership from Central Michigan University, an MS in Kinesiology from James Madison University, and a BS from Michigan State University. Awards include the 2015 Outstanding Career Practitioner of the Year and 2017 Board Certified Coach Scholarship.

Maietta has authored multiple books including 'Career Coaching Principles and Practices' and 'Advancing Talent Development', and serves on editorial boards for the NACADA Journal and NACE Journal.
