Heather Howard is an Associate Professor at Michigan State University's Department of Anthropology, affiliated with the Faculty of American Indian and Indigenous Studies. Her work centers on collaborative research with Indigenous partners across clinics, schools, and museums, focusing on knowledge construction in services like healthcare and education to address structural inequities and ethical policy frameworks.
