Heather Harris

Heather Harris is an Assistant Professor and Director in the School of Communication at Villa Maria College, Buffalo, NY. She has been with the institution since 2005, initially as an instructor and later leading the development of a four-year Bachelor of Business Administration program. Her dual expertise spans academia and professional marketing, with roles at Fisher-Price, Rich Products Corporation, and Bausch & Lomb.

Her professional interests bridge business education and creative arts. She has authored and illustrated four children's picture books, earning a 2018 Moonbeam Award. Her leadership roles include co-founding redFISH Art Studios & Gallery, transforming a historic site into an artistic venue. She is actively involved in curriculum development, accreditation, and student engagement initiatives at Villa Maria College.
