Heather Green is an Associate Professor in the School of Art at George Mason University and a faculty member of Cedar Crest College's Pan-European MFA program. She holds a dual focus in creative writing and literary translation, specializing in avant-garde and modernist works. Her research interests include Dadaism, surrealist poetry, and the intersection of visual arts with textual creation. Green is the author of *No Other Rome* (2021) and translator of Tristan Tzara's *Noontimes Won* (2018) and *Guide to the Heart Rail* (2017). Her translations have garnered awards such as the Albertine Translation Prize (2023) and a French Voices Award.
Her scholarly essays and reviews appear in *Asymptote*, *Ploughshares*, and *Poetry International*. She serves as Visual Editor for *Asymptote* and contributes to editorial boards of literary platforms like *Poetry Daily*. Key themes in her work include intertextuality, political engagement in literature, and the role of translation in preserving cultural memory.
