Heather Fahlenkamp, Ph.D., is Professor and Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering at Oklahoma State University, holding the Edward Bartlett Chair. Her research focuses on tissue engineering and drug delivery systems, with applications in immunology and biomedical technologies.

Research Interests:
- Tissue Engineering: Developing advanced 3D human tissue models to study inflammation in vascular complications, allergens, and infectious diseases like influenza.
- Drug Delivery: Designing nanoparticle-based ocular delivery systems for chronic conditions such as diabetic retinopathy.
