Hazem Abbas is a Continuing Adjunct Professor at Queen’s University’s School of Computing within the Faculty of Arts and Science. His research focuses on machine learning, neural computing, and their applications in computer vision, image processing, and natural language processing. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Queen’s University and has held leadership roles, including Department Chair at Ain Shams University and Dean of Media and Engineering Technology at the German University in Cairo.
