Hayley Reid is a full-time Doctoral Researcher in Work Psychology and Work, Employment and Organisations at the Sheffield University Management School. Her research focuses on artist wellbeing and temporary artist spaces in the UK, informed by her decade of experience supporting artists through pop-up exhibitions, paid commissions, and community projects.

Her research explores hierarchies and power dynamics in participatory and embedded research methods, in collaboration with the Leeds-based arts organization East Street Arts. She emphasizes breaking down traditional barriers in artist-researcher relationships.
