Hassan Choucair

Hassan Choucair is a Lecturer (Education Focused) at UNSW Sydney, holding a PhD in Medicine from the University of Sydney (2020). He specializes in experimental anticancer agents and endoplasmic reticulum stress mechanisms. His research focuses on mitochondrial metabolism, cancer cell biology, and drug discovery, particularly targeting triple-negative breast cancer. Choucair has received prestigious awards, including the 2024 Early Career Researcher Award and a 2016 Australian Government Research Training Program Scholarship.

Education: BSc (Hons) and PhD (Medicine).
