معرفی
Hasan KARA is a Dr. Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Iğdır University, Turkey. With nearly three decades of service, he specializes in classical sequence-space theory, summability methods and functional analysis.
Education:
- Ph.D. in Mathematics, Yüzüncü Yıl University, 1992-1995 (Thesis: Sequence spaces defined by invariant convergence)
- M.Sc. in Mathematics, Yüzüncü Yıl University, 1990-1992 (Thesis: Transformations in sequence spaces)
- B.Sc. in Mathematics, Atatürk University, 1982-1986
Research Interests:
Dr. Kara’s scholarly work centers on sequence spaces defined through invariant convergence, Orlicz functions, statistical convergence and matrix transformations. His studies explore topological and algebraic properties of new sequence spaces, inclusion relations, dual spaces and matrix mappings between them, contributing to the broader field of summability theory and functional analysis.
Publication Profile:
Analyzing his nine refereed papers published between 1994 and 2021, one observes a sustained focus on constructing and characterizing sequence spaces that generalize absolute and strong convergence via invariant means, Cesàro methods, modulus functions and Orlicz growth functions. This corpus advances the classification and applicability of summability techniques in functional analysis.
Thesis Supervision & Teaching:
He has supervised more than ten master’s theses on sequence spaces, matrix transformations and stability of functional equations. He regularly teaches advanced courses such as Limitation Methods I-II, Complex Analysis I-II and Theory of Complex Functions at both graduate and undergraduate levels.
Laboratory & Teams:
No dedicated research laboratory or formal team affiliation is reported; his work is theoretical and conducted within the Analysis and Theory of Functions division of the mathematics department.
