Harry Martin

Harry Martin serves as Lecturer in the Department of Public Health and Recreation at San Jose State University (2015-present) and concurrently as Lecturer in the iSchool MS Informatics Program (2020-present). He maintains a full-time position as IT Manager for the County of Santa Clara Public Health Department and Emergency Medical Services Agency.

With over twenty years of public health IT experience, Martin specializes in critical health information systems including the Electronic Surveillance System for Early Notification of Community-based Epidemics (ESSENCE) and California Immunization Registry implementation. His professional trajectory spans multiple technical leadership roles within Santa Clara County public health infrastructure.
