Harry A. Meyer is a Professor in the Department of Biology at McNeese State University's College of Engineering & Sciences.
His educational background includes:

- MS in Zoology from the University of Michigan
- PhD in Marine Ecology from the University of South Florida
Dr. Meyer's research focuses on tardigrades (water bears), with specific interests in their biogeography, genetic diversity, ecology, and evolution. His work examines microscopic organisms in diverse environments, contributing to broader understanding of extremophile adaptations and evolutionary processes.
