Harrison P. Pinckney

Harrison P. Pinckney is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Management at The Pennsylvania State University. His research focuses on the intersection of racial identity development and recreation-based interventions for Black youth, aiming to protect their well-being through community-centered approaches.

His work includes projects like the Exploration of Benefits of the Circus Arts for Positive Youth Development, which examines how creative engagement in circus arts can foster resilience and identity formation among marginalized youth. He collaborates closely with the Prevention Research Center (PRC) at Penn State to advance these goals.
