Dr. Harold Schnyders is a Professor of Physics at the Department of Physics, Grand Valley State University, within the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. He has been affiliated with GVSU since 2003, progressing through academic ranks from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor and currently Professor. His primary research focus lies in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics, with notable work on pressure-induced phase transitions in materials.
