- Key Projects: Open Brain AI computational platform, machine learning for dementia diagnosis
Research focuses on computational models of speech-language impairments caused by neurological disorders. He develops AI tools for automated analysis of speech and language data, integrating machine learning with neuroimaging and clinical assessments. Notable contributions include:
- Early detection of Alzheimer’s/MCI via speech biomarkers
- Automated subtyping of Primary Progressive Aphasia variants
- Machine learning frameworks for analyzing discourse patterns in aphasia
Publications span over 20 peer-reviewed articles in journals like Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease and Brain Sciences. His work emphasizes translational research, with tools adopted in clinical settings for speech-language diagnostics.
