Harikrishnan Vijayan Pillai

Dr. Harikrishnan Vijayan Pillai serves as a Research Fellow at IMDEA Nanoscience Institute in Madrid, Spain, where he has contributed to cutting-edge research since joining in February 2023. He is an integral member of the Permanent Magnets and Applications research group, focusing on advancing nanoscale magnetic material technologies within the institute's specialized Center for Nanofabrication.

His research spans Permanent Magnets, Magnetic Materials, Nanomagnetism, and Materials Science, with emphasis on synthesizing and characterizing novel magnetic compounds for industrial applications. Current projects explore high-performance permanent magnet development, leveraging advanced nanofabrication techniques to enhance magnetic properties and thermal stability for energy-efficient technologies.

Within the Permanent Magnets and Applications group, Dr. Pillai collaborates with interdisciplinary teams across IMDEA's laboratories, utilizing state-of-the-art facilities in the Center for Nanofabrication.
