Hardeep S. Saluja

Dr. Hardeep S. Saluja serves as Department Chair and Tenured Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU), where he coordinates the Pharm.D./MSHIM and Pharm.D./MBA dual degree programs. He is President of the American Association of Indian Pharmaceutical Scientists and founder of the American Association of Indian Pharmacy Professors (www.aaipp.us), with additional leadership as Vice Chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee at the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS).

• M.B.A from Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Weatherford, OK in Business
• Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Boston, MA

His research spans pharmaceutics, pharmacy education innovation, and the integration of business/health information management into pharmaceutical practice. He pioneered SWOSU's Pharm.D./MSHIM program—the second such dual degree in the U.S.—focusing on healthcare systems optimization and pharmacist leadership development within evolving medical landscapes, while championing diversity initiatives across professional pharmacy organizations.

As an academic advisor, Dr. Saluja mentors Pharm.D. and dual-degree students while serving as an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) evaluator for national program standards. His community engagement includes Weatherford Rotary Club service, and he teaches core courses including Pharmaceutics II, Fundamentals of Drug Action, and Basic Pharmacokinetics.
