Harald Reichert

Harald Reichert is a Lead Scientist and Project Leader of the PETRA IV project at the Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY) in Hamburg, Germany. Previously, he served as Director of Research (Physical Sciences) at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) in Grenoble, France, leading its transformation into a 4th-generation light source (ESRF-EBS). His career spans over two decades in synchrotron-based research and facility management, with prior roles including Research Professor at the Max Planck Institute for Metals Research and Group Leader in Stuttgart.
