Harald Fecher

Harald Fecher is affiliated with the University of Freiburg's Department of Computer Science, where he has been part of the AVACS (Advances in Verification of Complex Systems) project since 2008. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Mannheim (2003) and a Mathematics degree from TU Darmstadt (1999). His postdoctoral research included positions at the University of Kiel and Imperial College London.

His research focuses on formal methods, including model checking, abstraction techniques, real-time systems, and formal semantics of UML state machines and process algebras.
