Harald Borgebund

Harald Borgebund is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Østfold University College, Department of Information Technology and Communication. He holds a PhD from the University of York (UK), completed in 2009. His academic interests focus on democratic theory, democratic education, and liberal political philosophy. He teaches courses including Political Communication I, Contemporary Political Theory, and Political Communication II. He leads the Digital Communication (DIGICOM) research group and serves on HiØ's Complaint and Disciplinary Committee.

• Research: Explores normative justifications for democracy, democratic education's role in modern democracies, and the institutional implications of liberal theories of justice.
