Hans Törnblom

Hans Törnblom is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Gothenburg, affiliated with the Sahlgrenska Academy and the Department of Molecular and Clinical Medicine. His research focuses on gastrointestinal disorders, particularly disorders of gut-brain interaction (DGBI), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and dietary interventions.

His recent studies examine hypnotherapy for IBS, biomarkers in inflammatory bowel disease, endoscopic techniques for food reaction analysis, and global symptom profiles in DGBI. He actively contributes to clinical guidelines for chronic nausea and population-based research on gut-brain disorders.

Dr. Törnblom collaborates internationally, co-authoring multicenter trials and epidemiological studies. His work bridges clinical practice and academic research to enhance patient care and treatment efficacy.
