Hans Peter Füchslin

Hans Peter Füchslin is a Lecturer in Drinking Water Hygiene at the Lucerne School of Engineering and Architecture (HSLU), affiliated with the Institute of Building Technology and Energy (IGE). He holds expertise in microbiology of drinking, bath, and shower water, Legionella-related research, and integrated building water systems. His professional roles include leadership in the Canton Zurich Laboratory (Head of Water Department 2014–2019; Director of Legionella Task Force 2019–2024), and active participation in expert groups like the VKCS Legionella Committee (Chair since 2019).
