Hans-Jürg Rickenbacher

Hans-Jürg Rickenbacher is a Professor at the Lucerne School of Music (HSLU), leading professional classes in solo singing since 2010. He holds roles as Programme Coordinator for the Bachelor of Arts in Music (Classic Vocal Specialisation) and Study Coordinator for the MA Programme in Performance and Pre-College Classical Music. His career includes extensive international opera and concert performances across Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East.

Research focuses on acoustic solutions for music rehearsal spaces and vocal pedagogy innovation. He co-authored Vox Humana journal articles and pioneered vocal e-learning methods demonstrated at the 2017 ICVT conference in Stockholm.

Leadership roles include President of EVTA.CH (European Voice Teachers Association Switzerland) and founder of Eurovox 2026. He also leads HSLU's StageLab and served on the Mitwirkungskommission and Wirtschaft FH Schweiz advisory board.
