Hannu Ruonavaara is a Professor of Sociology at the Department of Social Research, University of Turku, and a Visiting Professor at Uppsala University, Sweden, specializing in housing and social theory. He holds a Doctorate (1993) in Political Sciences (Sociology) from the University of Turku.
