Hannes Schöggl

Hannes Schöggl is a percussionist and educator affiliated with the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MUK) and the Vienna Music School. He currently teaches percussion and musicology at the Vienna Music School and heads the percussion class at 'Superar Wien.' His professional roles include solo performances, ensemble collaborations, and international workshop lectures.

Education: Studied under Prof. Nebojša Jovan Živkovic at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts.

Research and Performance: Specializes in percussion, marimba, and ensemble playing. Active in ensembles such as Schlagwerk Wien, Ensemble XX. Jahrhundert, Quetsch 'n' Vibes, and Between Feathers Ensemble. Known for national and international performances as a soloist and chamber musician.

Awards: Won first prize in the marimba category and the Grand Prix at Drumfest Russia in 2016.
