Hanneke van Dongen is an Associate Professor in Health Technology Assessment in Musculoskeletal Health and Rehabilitation at the Department of Health Sciences, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Her roles include PhD coordinator and advisor, and she contributes to teaching courses like Economic Assessment of Health Care and Economic Evaluation.
Education: MSc in Health Sciences and Human Movement Sciences (cum laude, 2008), PhD in 2014 (thesis: Economic evaluations of worksite health promotion programs). Research focuses on economic evaluations, musculoskeletal health, and methodological advancements in health technology assessment, including predictors of healthcare costs and quality-of-life metrics. She has supervised 10 PhD theses and ~8 annual internships.
