Hannah Soong

Hannah Soong is a Senior Lecturer at UniSA Education Futures, University of South Australia. Her research focuses on international education, refugee integration, social capital, and citizenship education. She supervises research degrees and leads projects addressing transnational mobility, community engagement, and educational equity.

Key publications include Asia Literacy in a Global World: An Australian Perspective (2018, co-edited), The Palgrave Handbook of Citizenship and Education (2020, co-edited), and articles exploring refugee parental aspirations, international student wellbeing, and holistic refugee integration strategies. Her work emphasizes participatory approaches to education and policy, with grants from the University of South Australia, Bupa, and the Channel 7 Children’s Research Foundation.
