Hannah Pham is a Lecturer at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) Business School within the Accounting Discipline, specializing in transdisciplinary research at the intersection of management accounting and environmental sustainability. She joined UTS in 2016 following a PhD in Accounting (2016) and Master of Business in Accounting and Finance (2010), both from UTS. Her expertise spans management control systems, performance measurement, and environmental accounting.
Her research focuses on sustainability integration in diverse sectors including agriculture, biotechnology, and government organizations. Notable projects include a $372,875 Australian Government-funded study on cotton value chain sustainability (2011–2016) and collaborative work on algae-based bio-economy initiatives. She also contributes to healthcare costing through the NSW Health ABF costing project led by Prof. Prabhu Sivabalan.
Pham’s academic contributions include peer-reviewed publications on environmental performance measurement systems and interdisciplinary sustainability modeling. She mentors students in research projects addressing topics like greenhouse gas reduction strategies and social media’s impact on learning outcomes.
