معرفی
Hanna Eckhardt is a researcher at the Department of Mathematics, Faculty IV, University of Siegen. She is actively involved in the DiMEG21st project, a collaborative research initiative focused on digital mathematical escape games and their role in fostering 21st-century skills such as collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking.
Her research centers on innovative teaching methods in mathematics, particularly the integration of digital tools and generative AI to support problem posing and adaptive learning. She works within a team led by Jun.-Prof. Dr. Daniel Thurm, collaborating with research assistants and student employees to develop and evaluate theory-based digital learning environments.
The DiMEG21st project, involving the University of Siegen, TU Dortmund, and the University of Duisburg-Essen, explores how digital escape games can enhance motivation and deepen mathematical understanding through narrative-driven, team-based challenges. Hanna contributes to the research and development of interactive AI-based task formats for explaining mathematical content.
She is also associated with other initiatives in mathematics education at the university, including projects like DigiMath4Edu and Authentic Optimizing, which emphasize digital transformation in classrooms and real-world problem solving in STEM education.
