معرفی
Hanmeng Zhan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). Their research bridges algebraic graph theory and quantum computation, focusing on translating quantum problems into graph-based frameworks solved via algebraic methods.
- Key Research Areas: Quantum walks, SIC-POVMs, combinatorics, and interdisciplinary quantum information.
- Awards: Multiple thesis recognitions from the University of Waterloo, including finalist status for the Governor General's Gold Medal and a top award in mathematics doctoral research.
Prior to WPI, they held postdoctoral positions at Simon Fraser University, York University, and Université de Montréal.
