Hanieh Aliakbari Abar is a Postdoctoral Fellow and Doctoral Student in the Department of Electrical and Information Technology (EIT) at Lund University, affiliated with ELLIIT and the LTH Profile Area on AI and Digitalization. She holds a PhD and MSc in Telecommunication Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic), Iran, and served as a Visiting PhD Student at the University of Bologna, Italy. Her research focuses on antenna design, electromagnetic modeling, and millimeter-wave technologies for 5G and beyond. She has contributed to projects like 'Optimal MIMO Terminal Antennas for 5G and Beyond' and reviews for IEEE journals.

Research Interests: Hanieh specializes in antenna design using the Theory of Characteristic Modes, Massive MIMO systems, and millimeter-wave active integrated antennas. Her work addresses automotive antenna integration, electromagnetic modeling of nonlinear devices, and RF/microwave circuit optimization. Recent projects include vehicular GNSS antennas and high-frequency radar arrays.
