Hani Al-Salami is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer in the Department of Internal Medicine at the UWA Medical School, The University of Western Australia (UWA). Their research focuses on drug delivery systems, nanotechnology applications in medicine, and pharmacological interventions for retinal degeneration and diabetes. Al-Salami holds an ORCID ID (0000-0003-0049-6969) and can be contacted at hani.al-salami@uwa.edu.au.
Research interests include nanoparticle-based therapies, bile acid pharmacology, antioxidant strategies, and probucol's role in combating oxidative stress. Their work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to health and well-being (SDG 3).
