Dr. Han Peigang is a Chair Professor and doctoral supervisor, serving as director of the school's academic committee and a distinguished talent under the 'Pengcheng Peacock Plan Category A'. He also holds leadership roles as vice president of the Shenzhen European and American Returned Scholars Association and chairman of the Shenzhen Solar Energy Society.
His research focuses on New Materials, New Energy, and Solar Energy applications, particularly in Material Surface Technologies, Photovoltaics, and Renewable Energy. With nearly 30 years of R&D experience, he has provided technical services and engineering construction to over 200 companies since 2008 in solar thermal and photovoltaic technologies, and as Chairman/Chief Scientist of Inner Mongolia Shenghe New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. since 2012. He has published 40+ papers and holds 7 Chinese patents.

He has led major projects including National Innovation Fund initiatives, Shenzhen-Hong Kong 'Innovation Circle' technology plans, and Inner Mongolia's medium- and high-temperature trough solar thermal technology utilization project (a major national support initiative).
