Hamza Preljević

Dr. Hamza Preljević is an Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) within the Department of Political Science and International Relations. He has served in multiple academic and administrative roles, including Demonstrator, Managing Editor of Epiphany – Journal of Transdisciplinary Studies, Secretary of the Balkan Studies Center, Senior Assistant, and Director of the Balkan Studies Center. His work focuses on Bosnian politics, EU integration, security studies, and transatlantic relations, with a particular interest in NATO’s engagement with the Western Balkans.

His work emphasizes the intersection of governance, regional stability, and international policy frameworks like the UN 2030 Agenda. He has also contributed to academic discourse through book reviews on themes including EU solidarity, migration policies, and political crises in Europe.
