Hamza Alkhatib

Hamza Alkhatib is a Senior Researcher at the Geodetic Institute within the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geodetic Science at Leibniz University Hannover. His research focuses on advanced computational methods in geodetic data analysis, including Bayesian modeling, Monte Carlo simulations, uncertainty quantification, and filtering techniques for multi-sensor systems. He leads projects funded by DFG, BfG, and BMVI, addressing topics like hydrographic monitoring, cooperative sensor networks, and machine learning applications in geodesy. Alkhatib holds a PhD from the University of Bonn (2007) and a Habilitation from Leibniz University Hannover (2020).
