Halit Eris is a researcher at the Chair of Software Engineering under Prof. Stefan Wagner at the Technical University of Munich. His work focuses on enhancing validation and verification (V&V) of autonomous systems through explainable testing methodologies. He specializes in integrating explainability into testing frameworks to improve failure analysis and trust in decision-making systems.
Research areas include Explainability in Validation & Verification of Decision-Making Systems and Automotive Software Testing. He contributed to a mutation-based scenario fuzzing framework for autonomous driving software, leveraging software-in-the-loop (SiL) testing and CI/CD pipelines to ensure robustness in automotive systems.
