Halil Zaim is an Assistant Professor of Management at Alfred University's College of Business, accredited by AACSB. He holds a Ph.D. in Labour Economics from Istanbul University (2003), alongside a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Economics. With over 20 years of experience, he has held academic leadership roles across Turkey, Nigeria, Kuwait, and the USA.

Research Interests

His work emphasizes practical applications in sectors such as healthcare and finance.

Zaim’s recent articles address diversity’s impact on performance, knowledge management in Gulf corporations, and Islamic leadership. He has received the Clute Institute Best Paper Award (2009), AUM’s Best Faculty Award (2017–2018), and Alfred University’s Best Scholar Award (2022–2023).
