Haley Schwade

Haley Schwade is an Assistant Professor at the University of Nevada, Reno, affiliated with the Orvis School of Nursing. She began teaching clinical courses in spring 2015 and transitioned to full-time faculty in fall 2018. Specializing in telemetry and cardiac care, Schwade is also an alumnus of the Orvis School of Nursing, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2011) and Master of Science in Nursing (2015).

Research Interests:
Schwade focuses on mitigating enteral feeding complications and advancing nursing education strategies. Her work addresses clinical challenges in telemetry nursing and care for patients with current or potential heart conditions.
