Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hajnalka Nagy is Head of the Department of Subject Didactics at Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt. Her research focuses on German didactics, migration literature, cultural memory, and postcolonial pedagogy, emphasizing intercultural and transcultural educational approaches. She leads the Subject Didactics team within the Institute of German Studies, collaborating with scholars like Barbara Neymeyr and Petra Wrann.
Her academic work bridges literary analysis with educational practice, addressing topics such as postmigrant identity, anti-racist pedagogy, and global learning strategies. She actively contributes to the Austrian Forum for German Didactics (ÖFDD) and publishes in interdisciplinary journals.
