Haixia Bi

Dr. Haixia Bi is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in Electronics, Computing and Mathematics at the University of Derby. Her research develops advanced computational methods for image processing, big data analytics, and educational technology.

Bi specializes in polarimetric SAR image segmentation using 3D wavelet transforms and Markov models. Additional work examines Docker-based e-learning systems and geospatial data frameworks. Her publications address renewable energy modeling and visualization challenges in earth observation data.
