Haim Sandberg is a Global Visiting Professor of Law and Associate Professor at the Haim Striks Faculty of Law, College of Management Academic Studies in Rishon LeZion, Israel. He also teaches Property Law at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv University. His roles include heading the LL.M. Program and serving as a member of the 12th Israeli Council for Higher Education.
Professor Sandberg's research focuses on land law, including land policy, urban planning, land registration, constitutional safeguards of property, equity, trusts, and technological innovations. He specializes in analyzing political, religious, and social developments in the Ottoman Empire, the Land of Israel, the State of Israel, and the Palestinian Authority through the prism of land law. His work is frequently cited by Israeli courts.
He advises government institutions, public NGOs, and law firms, submitting legal opinions on test cases. He chairs appeal committees and serves on the Council of Land Appraisal, Ministry of Justice. Additionally, he serves as a Military Judge in the IDF Reserves.
