Haim Avron

Haim Avron is a Professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics at Tel Aviv University's School of Mathematical Sciences, where he has been employed since 2015. His research focuses on numerical computing, high-performance computing, and their applications in scientific computing and machine learning.

Education: Completed PhD in Computer Science at Tel Aviv University under Prof. Sivan Toledo, followed by postdoctoral research at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center.

Research interests:

• Tensor-tensor algebra for multiway data representation
• High-performance computational methods for machine learning
