Professor Haider Butt is a Full Professor in the Department of Mechanical & Nuclear Engineering at Khalifa University. He holds a PhD in Nanophotonics (2012) and an MPhil in Electrical Engineering (2008) from the University of Cambridge, along with an MEng in Electrical Engineering from Pakistan's National University of Science and Technology (2007).

Recent publications highlight advancements in 3D/4D printing for optical sensors, smart contact lenses, and nanocomposite materials applied to wearable diagnostics. His work bridges Nanotechnology and Biomedical Engineering.
