Dr Hai Phung is a Senior Lecturer and Program Director of the Postgraduate Public Health Program at Griffith University’s School of Medicine and Dentistry (School of MDP – Public Health). He has taught medicine, epidemiology, evidence-based practice, and public health across multiple Australian universities including the University of Queensland, UNSW, and the Australian National University. He also serves as Adjunct Associate Professor at both Griffith and the University of Queensland.

His work addresses critical issues such as climate-sensitive infectious diseases, malnutrition, food security during disasters, and health promotion among ethnic minorities.

Completed PhD supervisions include projects on Ghana’s COVID-19 response, cardiovascular risk in Omani diabetics, and heat exposure among Vietnamese farmers.
