Hafsae Lamsaf

Hafsae Lamsaf is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL), contributing to the SMARTPACK project within the Pastrana Research Group. She holds a Ph.D. in Materials Chemistry and specializes in nanotechnology applications for sustainable packaging solutions.

Her research centers on developing nanostructured materials with active functionalities for intelligent food packaging systems. Key focus areas include antibacterial agents to inhibit microbial growth and chromatic sensors that provide visual freshness indicators through color-changing properties, directly addressing food safety and waste reduction challenges.

As part of the Pastrana Research Group, Dr. Lamsaf collaborates on cutting-edge nanomaterial innovations aimed at creating responsive packaging that extends shelf life while offering real-time consumer feedback on product condition through advanced material science techniques.
