Habip Türker is a Professor at the Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Gaziantep University, Turkey. His academic career spans roles in systematic philosophy, aesthetics, and twentieth-century philosophy, with a focus on phenomenology, Islamic theology, and comparative ethics.

His research explores the intersection of phenomenology (notably Husserl and Heidegger), Islamic philosophy (Ibn Sina, Yusuf Has Hacib), and classical aesthetics (Aristotle, Plato). Articles address poetic transcendentality, aesthetic debates in Islamic and Western traditions, and historicist critiques in phenomenology.
Recent publications analyze Husserl’s anti-psychologism, Heidegger’s political philosophy, and Ibn Hazm’s aesthetics through Kantian frameworks. His work is indexed in TR DİZİN, EBSCO, and Philosopher's Index.
Türker has led TÜBİTAK-funded projects on phenomenology in critical theory and dialectics in Husserl’s philosophy. He has served as Head of Department at Gaziantep University (2019–2025) and Ibn Haldun University (2018–2019).
