HECTOR RAMOS

Hector Ramos is a Lecturer in the Department of Educational Psychology at Texas A&M University, part of the College of Education and Human Development. He holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology (2015) from Texas A&M, an M.S. in Creative Studies and Change Leadership from SUNY Buffalo State (2005), and a B.S. in European Community Studies from the University of Wales (1993). His research focuses on cognitive fixation in leaders of non-profit organizations and creativity in diverse contexts.

Ramos teaches courses such as Creative Problem Solving, Lateral Thinking/Six Thinking Hats, and Personal Creativity and Giftedness, coordinating the Creative Studies Minor for undergraduates. He has trained executives and educators globally, including roles at the Civil Service College (Singapore), Citibank (Indonesia), and institutions in Dubai, Kuwait, and Mexico. His work emphasizes applied creativity and innovation in leadership and education.
